A Thanksgiving Party, Grand Food Tasting and Mini Fashion Shows all rolled into one fun-filled night as PLAZA IBARRA celebrated its 15th year last October 20, 2019!
The event opened with a prayer followed by opening remarks from Ms. Cecille Sarthou, Ibarra’s Director of Sales and Marketing, who also led the toasting ceremony to commemorate the milestone.
The main program happened at the renovated Belladonna function room, which can accommodate up to 160 pax.
The event served as a one-stop shop for the guests as a number of seasoned suppliers, coordinators, hair and make-up artists and fashion designers were also invited and gathered at the adjacent function rooms, Margarita (120 pax) & Azalea (80 pax), each with their own booth.
Bloggers, church and hotel representatives were invited as well, with Weddings & Beyond as the media partner, represented by Mr. Clyve and Mrs. Thet Chua.
Dinner time commenced with a parade of waiters, groovin’ on to Bruno Mars’ Uptown Funk which absolutely hyped up the mood.
Afterwards, the guests proceeded to the buffet area at the Belladonna Garden.
K-Strum Acoustic Band serenaded the guests while enjoying a taste of Ibarra’s cuisine.
Two fashion houses presented their mini collections for the soon-to-be brides and debutantes.
First to present was DAMSEL by Ms. Dada Arquillo with her fiery red & pink wardrobe collection called “Raging Princesses”.
Ferocious and unbothered, the gowns are perfect for the bold and daring generation in transitioning to adulthood.
Subsequently, models from the Coutuba Fashion House paraded Mr. Paul Santos’ “2019 Winter Collection”.
Attendees were in awe as the doll-like models sashayed the mini runway clad in sophisticated pieces that are ideal for weddings and formal gatherings.
Throwback Photo Contest
Prior to the big event, Ibarra’s also hosted an online contest, wherein participants will send photos from their event held at Plaza Ibarra – the older the photo, the better!
The winner was awarded with an overnight stay for 2 at Pico de Loro.

A fabulous treat for on-the-spot bookers! Freebies are offered only on the day of the event.
Not only those, the event was also filled with fun activities such as Gem Hunt and a Raffle Event, with prizes featuring P50,000 worth of thematic styling, staycations from Luxent Hotel and Subic Grand Seas Resort, and a lot more!
